The Ripple Effect

Monthly micro-grant program to boost local grassroots projects. We believe in the power of community in a big way. And the shift happening around our studios can have a major ripple on effect.

Applications for Ripple Effect grants are on a rolling basis.

The Power of Community Investment

The Ripple Effect aims to see, acknowledge and support the people in our community doing good in their own communities. It connects Human.Kind with wider circles of positive action throughout Adelaide.

Ripple Grants fund transformational projects that build and shape communities at local scale. The process is competitive, with an emphasis on projects that are clear, achievable and have impact. Micro-grants of $1500 are awarded to a different project every second month, as decided by our incredible group of donors based on the applications received over the previous 8 weeks.

Ripple Effect grants are easy to apply for. We will keep in contact to enjoy the projects and outcomes but there’s no post grant administration or acquittal. you can see the amazing diversity of projects we’ve previously funded here.

Want to become part of the Ripple Effect Team?

The Ripple Effect trustees are wonderful, generous souls from both within our community and others who just love being a positive impact in the world. If you’re interested in becoming part of this group, read on.

  • You’ll meet with other like minded people from our community to have meaningful discussions over the projects available, vote for the projects that speaks to your heart, and see the positive effects of funded projects rippling out into the community.

  • The trustees each donate $100 per month for a seat at the table. We are keep it around 10 Trustees for a minimum commitment of 6 months. Human.Kind puts in $500 each month to bring the project funding to $1,500 per month.

  • As well as warm fuzzies from directly supporting inspiring projects, it’s a great way to bond with like-minded humans, and have a direct connection with the community you love.
